Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), MA, DPP
Why I Do This Work
My commitment to psychotherapy comes from both professional training and personal experience. I’ve been in therapy, I know how meaningful it can be to have a space where you can speak openly, without pressure to perform or have answers. That experience shaped my understanding of change as something that often unfolds gradually, within a steady relationship.

How My Background Shapes My Work
I studied Psychology as an undergraduate and completed a Master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology, which informs how I understand people within their relational, cultural, and social contexts. Clients often find this helps them feel seen as whole people, rather than reduced to symptoms.
I am also a certified yoga instructor, shaping my attention to pacing, presence, and the role of the body in emotional experience. Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent many years as a senior executive, which helps me work comfortably with clients who carry responsibility, pressure, or perfectionism.
Training and Experience
I trained at the Toronto Institute for Contemporary Psychoanalysis, completing a three-year program combining academic study with supervised clinical practice. I worked for over two years in the Institute’s community clinic and have completed over 500 hours of clinical experience.

A Closing Note
I aim to offer a thoughtful, responsive, and supportive therapeutic space where you can explore your experience at your own pace, with care and attention to what matters most to you.
