How Therapy Works

I practice psychoanalytic and psychodynamic psychotherapy. Our work focuses on what brings you to therapy now, while also gently attending to earlier experiences and relationship patterns that continue to shape how you see yourself and others. Understanding these patterns can help loosen their hold and open up new possibilities.

What Sessions Are Like

Sessions are collaborative and conversational. We pay attention to emotions, recurring themes, and moments that feel confusing or emotionally charged. Noticing these experiences as they arise often leads to deeper insight and change.

 

Pace and Focus

Therapy moves at your pace. My aim is to offer a steady, supportive space where difficult feelings can be explored safely, understood more fully, and gradually integrated over time.
